Custom Flanges
Veltronova manufactures custom flanges in India for U.S. and global industrial projects. Available in drawing-based designs, with specified dimensions, materials, facings and drilling configurations, subject to manufacturing feasibility. Applications include oil & gas, petrochemical, refining and power industries.
Overview
Custom flanges are designed for piping and equipment requirements that standard configurations cannot meet. Veltronova manufactures custom flanges in India for U.S. and international projects, subject to technical review and manufacturing feasibility.
Customisation may include non-standard bore dimensions, bolt patterns, flange thicknesses, special hubs, tapped holes, RTJ grooves and specified facing finishes. Material options include carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and nickel alloys, subject to availability and project specifications.
Each requirement is reviewed against customer drawings, material specifications, dimensional tolerances and operating conditions. Applicable design codes and engineering requirements should be confirmed before production.
Quality documentation may include material test certificates, dimensional inspection reports, material traceability, PMI and NDT, depending on the agreed inspection plan and available capabilities. Export packaging and shipping arrangements are determined by the order requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Technical questions on our Custom Flanges, answered by our engineering team.
Small-quantity and single-piece orders may be possible, depending on the flange design, material, manufacturing process and production requirements. Buyers should specify the required quantity and whether the order is a prototype, replacement component or part of a larger project. Minimum order quantities and any tooling costs should be confirmed before placing an order.
Lead time depends on flange dimensions, material availability, design complexity, machining requirements, inspection and order quantity. International shipments also require time for export handling and transportation. U.S. buyers should confirm the production schedule, inspection dates and estimated shipping time before finalizing their purchase order.
U.S. buyers sourcing from India should evaluate manufacturing capabilities, technical compliance, material traceability, inspection requirements, export experience and delivery arrangements. They should also confirm the supplier's manufacturing origin, communication process and ability to meet project specifications before placing an international order.
The total landed cost depends on the flange material, dimensions, manufacturing complexity, order quantity, packaging, freight, insurance, customs duties and applicable import charges. Buyers should compare the complete delivered cost rather than the quoted product price alone. The final estimate should account for the agreed Incoterms and destination in the United States.
International shipments generally require a commercial invoice, packing list and appropriate transport documents. Depending on the product, material and shipment, additional documentation, such as a certificate of origin, material test certificates and inspection reports, may be required. U.S. importers should confirm the applicable customs and project documentation requirements before shipment.
India-manufactured flanges may be suitable for many U.S. commercial and industrial projects, subject to the applicable technical specifications. However, projects governed by Buy America, Buy American or other domestic-content requirements may impose restrictions on imported products. Buyers should verify the specific contract and funding requirements before sourcing internationally.
Third-party inspection may be arranged when required by the purchase order and agreed with the supplier. Depending on the project, inspection can cover material verification, dimensional checks, marking and other specified acceptance criteria. Buyers should agree on inspection scope, acceptance requirements, inspection stages and reporting arrangements before production begins.
An existing flange may provide a reference for a replacement design, subject to engineering review and manufacturing feasibility. Buyers should provide available drawings, dimensional measurements, material details and equipment specifications. For critical applications, the original design requirements and service conditions should be verified before approving a replacement component.
Export packaging should protect flanges against handling damage, moisture, corrosion and contamination during transportation and storage. The packaging method depends on flange size, material, surface finish, facing and shipping conditions. Buyers should specify any requirements for protective covers, corrosion prevention, identification, palletisation and container loading in their purchase orders.
Veltronova is based in India and supplies industrial piping products for international markets, including the United States. Custom flange enquiries can be made for projects in industrial markets such as Houston, Corpus Christi, Beaumont and Baton Rouge. Product specifications, order requirements, export arrangements and delivery feasibility should be confirmed for each project.
